• Ironically, not really an object, but it does deal with them... sometimes at least..., and it is code or programs. I think it is about the response you expect from it, to "function" in a certain way after you do something to it. For a wooden table, you might want it to shine in a certain way after you polish it. Or a stain to vanish after washing it, a motorcycle to purr after maintenance. Or code to compile on the first time and have the program run the way it is meant to, without bugs, warnings, or crappy workarounds you found halfway through some long forgotten internet form. — onlyname
